Marilyn Monroe & Allan “Whitey” Snyder. He was her long-time makeup artist and close friend. She asked Whitey to promise her that he’d do her makeup for her funeral she died 1st. He replied, “Sure, drop off the body while it’s still warm and I’ll do it.” Amused, Marilyn bought him a gold Tiffany money clip engraved: “Whitey Dear: While I’m still warm, Marilyn.” When she died, Joe DiMaggio reminded Whitey of his promise. Whitey did her makeup one last time and was one of the pallbearers.

Marilyn Monroe on the beach. This is probably my favourite picture of her. Actually I think this is one of my favorite pictures ever of any one famous. She looks so happy and natural I love her expression :)
