The historic Hana Highway is one of the best ways to cruise the island. Starting in Kahului, the stretch can take as little as three hours and passes black-sand beaches, bamboo jungles and jaw-dropping waterfalls.
"The Back Road To Hana, Maui" This winding and random highway passes through the Kahiki Nui District on Maui. Most local folks call this the "back road to Hana". This section cuts through a jagged lava flow over deep crevises.
