Qing Dynasty. 清,北京故宫藏。《十二美人图》烛下缝衣 |  清风徐徐,红烛摇曳,仕女勤于女红,在烛光下行针走线。女红包括纺织、刺绣、缝纫等,古代隶属于衡量女子“四德(妇德、妇言、妇功、妇容)”中的“妇功”,是评价女子品行高低的重要标准之一。因此,女子们无论贫富贵贱,均以擅女红为能事。此图中女子兰指轻拈,针线穿行,低眉落目,若有所思。明窗外一只红色的蝙蝠飞舞在翠竹间,“鸿福将至”的吉祥寓意巧妙地蕴涵在图画之中。
