A view of the Typhoon rocket armament, taken later in the campaign. Armourers fit two extra rocket-projectiles to the four normally carried on the wing rails of Hawker Typhoon Mark IB, 'PR-V', of No. 609 Squadron RAF at Holland.
In my opinion the most elegant fighter of WWII, the British Hawker Tempest Mk-V. I recommend the book "The Big Show" from pierre Clostermann for a good account of the operations of this outstanding fighter.
