Millennium Trilogy by Stieg Larsson. I usually don't read this type of book but I read "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo" because of all the talk about it and was instantly hooked. Too bad he only wrote these 3 before he passed away.

Running with Scissors. The one & only book which was recreated on the big screen and did not disappoint me in the least. Spot on. The dialog was nearly word for word from the memoir.

In Burroughs' Family, One Saga, Three Memoirs, Many Competing Truths

Running with Scissors - Augusten Burroughs The book is funnier, but the movie has a superstar cast of Annette Benning, Joseph Feinnes, Alec Baldwin & Gwyneth Paltrow

Enzo knows he is different from other dogs: a philosopher with a nearly human soul (and an obsession with opposable thumbs), he has educated himself by watching television extensively, and by listening very closely to the words of his master, Denny Swift, an up-and-coming race car driver.

The Art of Racing in the Rain by Garth Stein. A forever favorite, especially for dog lovers

unexpected

19. The Time Traveler’s Wife popped by to gloat.

The Giver by Lois Lowry - I believe production has started on a movie version...I love it when my favorite books become movies!

The Giver - Read. I read this when I was in middle school and I didn't like it then. So, I thought, with the movie coming out, I'd give it another shot. Still leaves a bit to be desired, but the dystopian genre always makes me think.

Cute romance book. Pretty excited for the movie!

The Lucky One, my favorite Nicholas Sparks' novel. Can't wait for the movie to come next year.

Flowers in the Attic. Incest...lots of incest. One if the mist messed up yet beautifully written novels. I would recommend....yet advise caution.

Flowers in the Attic by V. C. Andrews (1980, Hardcover)

Favorite of all time.VC Andrews Flowers In The Attic, a super twisted and sick story of an evil mother/grandmother who forces her 4 children to live in The Attic! First time I ever heard about incest.
