A Dentist office is a fun and easy way to teach children about proper teeth cleaning. This way of teaching gives children the opportunity to be fully engaged in experiences while making it fun for them. Many materials could be added to this dramatic centre and it ties into ELECT 3.3 for infants (expressive language skills) as they learn words such as "dentist" and "toothbrush". It also ties into ELECT 1.3 for toddlers (parallel play) as children play alongside each other using role playing.
