The book WILLA’S HOUSE, was inspired by the true story of Willa Pauli, a teacher who found contentment in work and home, in the small town of Stratford, Ontario. As most of us in Ontario are now working, teaching, and living at home, we hope everyone is finding their own version of contentment during this time.

WILLA’S HOUSE is a book for readers of all ages. Author David Booth used Willa’s house as a metaphor for the quiet joys of a life well lived in a small town. In telling the story of Willa, a woman who found fulfilment and contentment in her life as a teacher, and in the house she lived in for 80 years, the author takes adult readers on a nostalgic journey back to their own past, and reminds children of what is important to treasure in life. #childrensbooks #ireadcanadian
