I love getting digital renderings done to bring my ideas to life before purchasing furniture! It’s like hiring someone to play The Sims for my actual house!Here’s a general idea of what I’m hoping to do in my office. I already have the desk and the shelves. I love getting digital renderings done to bring my ideas to life before purchasing furniture! It’s like hiring someone to play The Sims for my actual house!Here’s a general idea of what I’m hoping to do in my office. I already have the desk and the shelves. The couch is on backorder til November unfortunately, and I’m still trying to decide on a desk chair.

Since the couch for my office is on backorder til November, I’m tempted to experiment with reupholstering these chairs in the meantime 🤔 swipe to see the beautiful sheepskin chair I’ve been obsessed with for 2 years (it’s $3,000 😅) Maybe I could DIY something similar? The hard part would be sourcing a faux fur that’s actually that texture and color, I think your typical faux furs would just look cheap/tacky. Love Seat, Accent Chairs, Furs, Experiment, Faux Fur

This was when the walls in my office only had one coat of limewash paint, but as of now they have 2 coats and I’m deciding to just leave it alone...for now. The final result looks a little different than what I planned, but it’s very pretty and I think actually more sophisticated than my original idea. I’m going to work on some other elements of the room and see I how I feel. The last few major things I need for my bedroom are: a rug (ordered one but it’s on back order), upgraded bedding, possibly black lamp shades, and artwork for above the bed.So I snagged my DIY canvas from the kitchen and propped it up here just to get an idea of the color scheme and sizing. I think would go for a “softer” abstract style, but I like the idea of it being mostly black. I really wanted giant travelers palms or bird of paradise plants but it was nearly impossible to source real (large) ones, and I knew it would be hard to keep them looking perfect year round, so I settled for faux! Also, a black stone planter like this was going to cost $800 so I created this DIY version! Stay tuned to my YouTube channel for further details!
