Paintings of the Rocky Mountains by Artist; Rhonda Lund
The mountains are amazing here in Alberta but so is the clear sky at night.
Have a super long w/e everyone! If you decide to avoid the Rockies crowd, feel free to soak this in.......
This is one of my earlier works, from when I was more into realism. I was able to get the detail I strove for with Staedtler drafting pens and ink.
This is of a view in front of Chateau Lake Louise. My point of view, when I took photos for the painting, had to be eye-level with the poppies....I got a few strange looks attempting this.
This one combines computer graphics and traditional painting. Again, Lake Abraham is featured. BTW, the color of the actual lake is much like in the artwork!
'influenced by my teaching days out at Bighorn; 'wonderful country!
I imagine the Banff Springs Hotel is hurting right now but it's nice to look at.
I miss driving by this on Saturday mornings on my way to Lake Louise.
Autumn colors seems to work year round!
'one of my earlier pieces.
