Cut legs A & rails B, C to size. Cut hand hole & mortises for 270° hinges in back rail. Cut half lap joints in legs & rails. Lay assembly on bench & clamp swing-leg assemblies on top in open position. Make sure top edges & outside faces of swing-leg rails C are flush with top & outside edges of back rail B. Screw on butt hinges. Install 270° hinges & fasten top D. Transfer location of hand hole from back rail to top & cut it out. Turn table upside down, swing legs wide open & fasten cleats…

A cheese or snack board made from a wine barrel stave. No, it's not a paddle, although it may turn into one if people keep asking me! ;-) I use food-grade cutting board oil on it and really like how the oil brings out the texture on the outside of the barrel stave.
