Elton John Tumbleweed Connection album cover on my turntable.
Further to yesterday and transcending reality by imagination, I was all set to take a journey in time and space. It turns out, the box moonlights as a library. Makes sense, you could get quite a few books in there. Guess I'll just read, seems there might be a book of interest to me. Or write about a different dimension, transcending reality to my astral projection world, since my imagination has been joined by my story teller.
Week that Was in a Writer’s Images Photoblog - Superfoods with some super wine, a hard day in front of the oven. Well a hard day taking a picture in front of the oven and that’s about the extent of my relationship with the oven. In addition to some healthy meals in this book, there are also dessert recipes to make, well, for my wife to make. But I’ll be there for support … with a bottle of wine; I’ll even share.
Doorway Photos - May 2017- Week of the 22nd to 26th - A Writer's Site ... Well, after a week of posting the best of my Paris doors photos, I better get some Friday coffee and do some writing. Not sure why but for some reason I feel the urge to write while listening to "The Best of The Doors." For me, time to "Break On Through" and hoping for no "Roadhouse Blues."
Galeries Lafayette rooftop view of Opera Looking for a backdoor entrance to Opera from Galeries Lafayette rooftop.
From Piccadilly London Photos - Week of the Sept. 11th to 15th - Just trying to figure out where I am; looking for a sign. Actually trying to and finally getting used to London's Underground. Walking's good but good to branch out. Well, we always branch out but good to branch out quicker sometimes.
From Museum d'Orsay - Week of Nov. 27th to Dec. 1st
... were we alone? Did my eyes not see all that the camera saw? And, and, and … so many questions now; like will I go back to Cimetière du Montparnasse? And, for one last and, it's not often I can bring together Paris travel and the astral world … so … Happy Halloween.
Embankment Place, London ... I think I'm going to put on my travel hat and go for a walk down the River Thames. I'm going to walk because it looks like I'm going to miss my train from Charring Cross. So close but yet so far because between the Golden Jubilee Bridges runs all the train tracks over the Thames. At least from the Golden Jubilee Bridge I'm on, I got a good view of the station and its more modern office building part, Embankment Place.
Where there's art, there's art. It doesn't even have to be on display. And, now inside the Rodin Museum, there is much on display.
Dining in London? London surprised us with great meals including this one at our hotel, the @sofitellondon St James. The excellent bottle of wine didn't hurt. As for the hotel itself; we had a superb stay, wonderful staff.
