Day 101 - The Glory Days Are Gone
This magnificent old mansion was built in Petrolia, Ontario circa 1891 and was known as the "Sunnyside Mansion". It was built by the Fairbank family who were prominent in the early days of the discovery and production of crude oil in the Petrolia area. The building has deteriorated significantly and is now in very poor condition. This HDR image was produced in Photomatix Pro and Adobe Elements using 3 raw images.

This is a digital photo shot with a Samsung ST-67. I shot 29 images, not all of the bridge, which is located in a park in the middle of Petrolia, Ontario, population about three thousand or so. The image was manipulated using a free download called PAINT.Net. The effects include adjusting the brightness and contrast, and the 'oil painting' effect, as well as 'sharpening,' located in the 'photo' tab.
