"Barf" Bag Lab! Alcoholic Fermentation Activity
Your students will be talking about this lab for years to come! Not really "barf", but the mixture of cereal, yeast, and water sure looks like it when the sandwich bag bursts open!This inquiry lab involves very little preparation. Because the fermentation process takes 1/2 to 1 hour, it is best to set up the lab, let it run for most of the class, then watch the bags POP as the carbon dioxide builds!
