Today I'm excited to show you a card that I CASED (copy and share everything) from Jo Blackman, a talented Stampin Up! demonstrator from the UK. You can see her card on her blog here. My card is not exactly like hers...she really is amazing at water colouring, but, I still like how mine turned out. ;) As I made mine, I followed her written directions and created my own photo tutorial! If you haven't tried water colouring yet, get some Water Painters and Watercolor Paper and give it a try! Today I'm excited to show you a card that I CASED (copy and share everything) from Jo Blackman, a talented Stampin Up! demonstrator from the UK. You can see her card on her blog here. My card is not exactly like hers...she really is amazing at water colouring, but, I still like how mine turned out. ;) As I made mine, I followed her written directions and created my own photo tutorial! This is a very simple card with a twist! I used the Rich Razzleberry ink pad, stamped off the cardstock, added ink only on the edges by rocking the stamp on the ink pad, then used a Stampin’ Spritzer with water to spritz the stamp 2-3 times before stamping the paper. This is a very simple card with a twist! This technique is great to create fun & interesting backgrounds. I used Stampin' Up! Washi Tape, but, you can also use masking tape if you'd like. You can play around with different widths too! The “To a Wild Rose” stamp set can be used in 3 different steps. The lightest colour, I stamped the image on scrap paper twice before stamping on the Whisper White cardstock. The second layer, I stamped once on scrap paper and the outline of the flower, I stamped directly on the cardstock. As an alternative, you can blend the colours together Light Colors, Colours, Card Tricks, Scrap Paper, Pretty Cards, Wild Roses, Stamping Up
