Vintage Steampunk Sculptures Made of Cardboard
Upon first glance these pieces look as if they are forged out of metal, so I definitely have to say I was beyond impressed to find that they were not. Multifaceted artist Lance Oscarson of Vintedge Artworks, who can undoubtedly be dubbed a jack-of-all-trades, crafts these exquisite large works of art resembling that of mechanical steampunk/dieselpunk structures out of good old cardboard. Each piece pops off of their respective frames and are all for the most part extremely unique in their…
Bold and Loud Cardboard Sculptures for Pizza Hut Ad Campaign, Behind Every Box
Pizza Hut Delivery wanted to create interesting thematic ads to show their customers all the reasons to order Pizza Hut. With the target audience of mainly young adults who are often too busy or disinclined to dine out, Ogilvy and Mather Kuala Lampur decided to not only speak to pizza lovers in an insightful and surprising manner, but to build an occasion around ordering pizza. This then translated to the thought that there are layers to every scenario; that behind every pizza box, there’s a…

Life-Sized Pirate Ship Made Entirely Of Cardboard
With a Halloween Party on Treasure Island as their theme, friends Josh, Mikey and Joel went above and beyond to create this life-sized version of a pirate ship completely constructed from recycled cardboard boxes found around town. These guys also kept the detailing precise as well, building lanterns, porthole windows, and even a figurehead at the very front of the ship, featuring a skeleton woman with wild swirling hair. It's hard to believe that this was all only created with some found…
