A Voysey Original, designed and created in A simple wooden chair with a natural finnish. Including a heart shape carved in to the back of the chair, which is seen repeated in many of his other furniture designs, as well as his metal work.
English Furniture designer and Architect, Charles Francis Annesley Voysey was born in 1857 and died in 1941. He was known for his designs in wallpapers, fabrics, and simple furnishings, as well as numerous country style homes. He was said to be one of the first people to appreciate Industrial Design and understand It's significance, and was named one of the pioneers of modern architecture.
