Divided lite door finished and installed. Always surprising what a little paint does for a small kitchen. I remade all the uppers made and installed valances for some under cabinet lighting lighting a new cabinet for the microwave and sprayed all the cabinetry in Benjamin Moore cloud white CC 40. #Oakvillecabinetry
Ikea hack bookcase at night. I visited my client this week and took a quick snap of the bookcase all filled in with the lights on. It's always great to see these projects personalized with the family's memorabilia. Doesn't look much like an Ikea billy bookcases anymore. #OakvilleCabinetry
Small turntable in the spray booth. I use a plastic turntable I got from Lee valley and cut some lightweight kraft paper to catch and absorb the overspray. So the Kraft paper doesn't get blow up and stick to the underside of the piece I'm spraying I hold the paper down with those plastic pyramids. After I do one round of spraying I take the paper covered with paint off and replace it with a new one. Cheap but effective. #OakvilleCabinetry
Striplox mini 60 hidden fastener in melamine panel for the work station. This work station is being installed in a highrise condominium and there isn't much space to move around so I am using these fasteners to flatpack and assemble on site.
Edgebanding MDF flat panel doors with some paintable PVC. Lots of folks don't like MDF but it's some situations it's approriate. Thanks to Matt @popeofwood for the heads up on this edgebanding. Saves a bunch of extra finishing and sealing time on the cut edges of the MDF which can be nasty. I really like the Festool edgebanding carbide scraper for cleaning up the edge after trimming with the MFK 700. #oakvillecabinetry
2nd. workstation/desk in the last couple months. It seems simalar projects often come together. The dotted line show the inside of the walls/ceiling. This will also be melamine with painted doors and drawer fronts. A couple details to work out but this is basically it. #OakvilleCabinetry
I am vacuuming all the dust from my pre filter. Because of all the dust it caught from my last in home kitchen spraying project it too dusty to store for the next project. This thing really caught a lot of the airborne paint. Made final cleanup a breeze and saved my clients a lot of headaches. Thanks to @nsbuilders and @trghomeconcepts for showing me the way. #oakvillecabinetry
