Honoring Our Fallen Canadian Soldiers -  When a fallen soldier is repatriated onto Canadian soil the procession travels from Trenton, Ontario to Toronto along a stretch of HWY 401 that has been re-named The Highway of Heroes. Supporters gather on overpasses, on-ramps, and along the side of the highway to salute, applaud, stand silent, or otherwise show their support. It is an amazing and moving thing to witness, and to be a part of.
