Remembrance day

Remembrance Day- first read the book, what does peace feel like. Then we wrote our own version and then colored the picture on our chairs to create texture like in the books illustrations.

Nice wee activity in relation to Remembrance - children were told the story of how the war ended on the day, month on the hour and there was peace. Provoked them to think about what helps us find peace.
