C&H : The last strip
Calvin and Hobbes by Bill Watterson. The greatest comic strip ever created. Suck me if you think otherwise. Alternately laugh out loud funny and touching. Calvin and his best buddy Hobbes meant more to me emotionally than drawn little dudes ever should. This final strip still chokes me up. Calvin and Hobbes, and Bill Watterson, we speak your names.
South Park. I'll be brief. It fell off for a couple seasons while Trey & Matt were writing Book of Mormon, but seems back on track. Bigger, Longer, & Uncut is one of the greatest musical films ever made. Legendary characters, belly laughs, dick & fart jokes.. What more could you ask for? South Park, we speak your name.

Doug Stanhope. A brilliant, maniacal mind. I've seen him perform, in person, coked up and pilled out to the extreme. Second greatest comedy viewing experience of my life (tough to top Carlin in a small club from 10 feet away). I love Doug Stanhope and you should, too. You can send him gifts or just show up and meet him at 212 Van Dyke St. Bisbee, AZ 85603. Doug Stanhope, we speak your name.
Bill Hicks. A life cut short by the cancer. One of the most brilliant, angry motherfuckers I've ever heard do standup. You haven't lived until you've heard him screaming his head off, calling an audience member a "spoiled cunt." Bill Hicks, we speak your name.
Danny McBride. Sure, this guy seems to play the same crazy motherfucker in every movie, but he plays it well. I'm starting to think Kenny Powers is art imitating life. He may lack in acting range, but I don't give a rat shit, he's made me laugh harder in the last 3 years than anybody not named Howard Stern. Go watch This Is the End and try to tell me he doesn't steal the show. Just try it, cocksucker. Danny McBride, we speak your name.
Howard Stern. The King of All Media. Has created 4 hours of comedy every weekday for over 30 years. That's incredible. Even Carlin marveled at that feat. Welcome to Daddy's Comedy Hall of Fame, Mr. Stern. We speak your name.

George Carlin. Many would vote him the greatest comedian of all time. I say it's neck and neck with Richard Pryor but give the nod to George based on longevity. Most people have a favorite teacher that sparked them and opened their minds to critical thinking & such. I went to catholic school my entire life and experienced no such thing. In place of a favorite teacher, every 2-3 years I had ol' George's latest HBO Special to watch with my dad. I miss him dearly. George Carlin, we speak your…
