Crown Princess Mary
24/06-2019 On the second day of her visit, The Crown Princess attended the opening of a health conference held at the Danish House in Paris. Afterwards, Crown Princess Mary visited Danish artist Sonja Ferlov Mancoba's exhibition at Pompidou Center together with Firsy Lady Brigitte Macron. Danish Crown Princess Mary also attended a lunch at Elysee Palace together with Brigitte Macron.
15/06-2019 Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary visited the Danish Castle Centre in Vordingborg to celebrate the 800th anniversary of Dannebrog fall (Danish flag). Danish national historiography connects the introduction of the flag to the Battle of Lindanise of 1219. According to the legend the Danish flag fell down from the sky in the Battle of Lindanise, also known as the Battle of Valdemar. Crown Princess Mary wore a silk-georgette dress by Raquel Diniz.
Just like every year, Danish Queen Margrethe hosts the traditional New Year reception also this year. The first reception took place at Christian VII's Palace in Amalienborg on January 3 for the Supreme Court Judges, the Royal Life Guards and the Guard House Regiments. The second reception at Christiansborg Castle was held for Foreign Diplomatic Corps, Commanders and their spouses. Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary of Denmark were present at the reception.
