Le Train Bleu nécessaire c1932, Van Cleef & Arpels. Babe Barnato, the chairman of Bentley and winner of the Le Mans car races 1928-1930, once won an odd bet. In March 1931 he raced against the Blue Train, from Cannes to Calais. To immortalize this feat and apologize for his absence, he ordered a platinum nécessaire for his wife.
