Across the country, dentists are preparing to re-open their practices. In Alberta, on May 14th we hope to have fully established guidelines from our dental association, as to what will be considered “standard” treatment protocols. I can tell you that my colleagues and I are working diligently everyday on how we can adapt our clinics and protocols to make them over and above your expectations. It is taking a great amount of effort in getting all the changes in place and many have asked what…
As we fight this global pandemic, it is extremely important to maintain good health and hygiene to prevent risk of infection. A pandemic like this requires extra care and precaution. So here is a health hack for you - soak your toothbrush in an antibacterial mouthwash or hydrogen peroxide for 15 minutes to sanitize it. This will remove 99.9% of the bacteria on it! If you do become sick, remember to replace your brush. #Stayhealthy #staysafe.
With all this spare time Jamana has been completing home projects with her hubby, spending quality time with her fur babies and enjoying the warmer weather on the deck. This time to reflect and unwind at home has been nice but she's ready to get back into the office and see all our wonderful patients soon! 😁 She misses you all and we all miss her too 🥰🥰
Our amazing lead dental assistant, Elyse and her hubby has a beautiful message for us all straight from their porch 🥰 She has been taking advantage of this downtime to catch up on her favorite Netflix shows, building puzzles and doing yoga 🧘🏻♀️ Those look like some pretty difficult puzzles!! Very impressed with your patience Elyse. 🤯 What have you guys been doing to keep busy while social distancing? 😁

The month of April is the National Dental Hygiene Month and this week is actually the National Dental Hygienists Week. 🦷 Although this year we can't celebrate West Olds Dental's amazing dental hygienists Carol and Halima together, I am happy to know that they are enjoying their quarantine life with their adorable pets. 🐶🐱 They both want to remind you to keep brushing and flossing during self isolation 👏👏👏 #nationaldentalhygienemonth #nationaldentalhygienistsweek #oralhygiene…
At the beginning of each year our whole dental team comes together to celebrate our wins from the previous year, align our mindset and set goals for the upcoming year. 2020, you have thrown us a serious curve ball that none of us could have been prepared for. During this difficult time it’s even more important for us to be constantly maintaining a positive mindset and encouraging all family and friends to maintain their own. Social distancing doesn’t mean we can’t reach out to one another…
We were hoping it didn’t have to come to this, but we have chosen to close our office until further notice as recommended by the Alberta Dental Association and College. We believe this is the best decision to help do our part in protecting our community, patients and staff. Thank you to everyone for being so understanding during this time. Stay healthy!
✨Transformation Tuesday ✨ This transformation was done on a 16yr old patient with Invisalign! This patient was very happy with their results and how they were able to align their teeth discreetly using Invisalign in just 10 months! 🤗 This case really impressed us with how much Invisalign was able to accomplish. 👏🏻 Invisalign is such an amazing option for our patients to get the smile they have always wanted. 😁 Call to book a free consultation 📞
