Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, looks like a bagpipe on the map. Or maybe I'm influenced by the Scottish immigrants that have themselves so influenced Nova Scotia, and in particular, Cape Breton Island. Located on the northeastern end of the province, this island boasts one extraordinary view after another. It eerily looks like Scotland, and so must have felt like home to the
Dingwall Beach Cape Breton Nova Scotia - just off the Cabot Trail. Take a dirt road called Quarry Road and continue to drive all the way to the end, right past the Wharf. There is a small area to park your car once you reach the beach.
